About Tommy Tire

Tires new & used Tire repair

Located at 66 Glenwood Ave, Binghamton, NY 13905, Tommy Tire operates as a tire shop serving Binghamton in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Tommy Tire at (607) 788-2045; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, tommytire.shop.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 67 reviews, which is a strong result for a tire shop in Binghamton and suggests consistent service.

Binghamton is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Binghamton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Had a great experience at Tommy Tire. The service was quick, professional, and reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they made the whole process easy without trying to overcharge or push unnecessary work. Definitely a reliable place to bring your car, and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for good service at a fair price. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I went to Tommy tire for tires he told me I needed rotors and brakes. I went to Monroe tire on front street to get a second opinion and they stated I don’t need breaks or rotors so I got tires and a wheel alignment.be ware of Tommy tires scammer.

Phenomenal Service from Start to Finish! Had an incredible experience at Tommy Tire. I came in for a tire replacement and the team was beyond professional, fast, friendly, and genuinely caring. They took the time to explain everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work, and got me back on the road in no time. The shop is clean, organized, and the staff clearly takes pride in their work. My car drives smoother than ever and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Tommy Tire to anyone who values honesty, quality, and great customer service!

Honestly a great feeling coming here, I was recommended to stop by through my mom & I don't regret it. Great people, to me a very trustworthy aura from them. Gave us a great quote on the repair which another place tried to charge OUT OF POCKET for... Quickly ordered & popped on a new tire for us for the big road trip we are about to make & told us to come back later on in the day before we leave just to make sure we are good for the road. Really really satisfied. Informed us about more about the break pads and break rotors and when to change them. I knew a bit about this on a different care and it just felt nice that they took the extra time to just ensure we will be okay making a super far journey :) Hands down one of the best in the area if not the best.
